The NV200 Compact Cargo has two trim levels, the S and the SV. At first, it seems like the two trim levels are pretty similar. The Compact Cargo S costs $20,870 and the SV is less than $1,000 more at $21,760. They both have six roof rack mounting points and an opening range of 180 degrees for the rear cargo doors, which are both set up as a 40/60 split. They also each have sliding side doors on both sides. The only exterior difference that comes standard with an SV but not the S model is power outside mirrors. However, when buying a Compact Cargo SV you get a lot more exterior options than you do when purchasing an S. For example, you can choose to class an SV up with body colored bumpers, door handles, and mirrors, rather than the standard black.

Every 2016 Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo comes with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that outputs 131 horse power at 5,200 rpm and 139 lb-ft at 4,800 rpm.

The Compact Cargo performs at its best in the city. With its low exterior footprint, it can fit through narrow streets and make tight turns that larger cargo vehicles simply can't. The Compact Cargo also comes with Xtronic-transmission, which makes all the gear shifting required by stop and start traffic a lot more comfortable. Plus, the Compact Cargo's small engine means it gets 24 miles per gallon.

The 2016 Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo boasts 122.7 cubic feet of cargo space. It can even accommodate a standard U.S. 40x48 inch pallets. The Compact Cargo helps you get organized with its 20 integrated reinforced cargo mounting points for custom shelving, interior cargo panels, and pre-wiring for telematics upfitting. If you invested in the SV, you'll also get six floor-mounted D-rings in the cargo area, remote keyless entry, and power door locks with auto-locking feature. SV owners may also install a 5.8 inch touch-screen that has NissanConnect with Navigation and mobile apps, Hands-free text messaging assistant, and SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.

Each Compact Cargo comes with three main air bag systems. The Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) has dual-stage supplemental front air bags as well as occupant sensors. Then there are seat-mounted air bags for impacts from the sides. Finally, the roof-mounted air bags with a roll over sensor protects occupants from the top. Hopefully though, with the Compact Cargo's Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Traction Control System (TCS), you won't need the airbags. Should the worst occur, though, the Cargo also offers hood-buckling creases and safety stops. As an extra safety measure the Compact Cargo comes with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
