What Is Required To Rent A Vehicle?

• Minimum age is 21 years old. (Underage fees apply $15-20 Per Day)
• Valid Drivers License (International drivers require an International License)
• Major Credit or Bank-Issued Debit Card in the Renters Name (We do not accept cash or pre-paid cards)
• You must have valid, non-expired insurance (comprehensive and collision) that transfers to the rental vehicle. Proof of insurance is required to rent, please bring your insurance card or declaration with you.
• We have a geographic service area -you must live within the stores local area.

Are there any limitations on where I can drive a rental vehicle?

• Geographic Restrictions Apply.
• Rental contracts must be re-written every 30 days to remain valid.
• All vehicles are covered under Nissan Warranty and 24/7 Roadside Assistance.
• We include up to 500 miles a day with your rental, with a maximum of 3500 miles per rental. Additional mileage is charged at .25 cents a mile thereafter.

Does Scott Clark Nissan require a deposit?

We take an "authorization" (deposit) on your credit card at the time of rental for the total rental charges plus $300 as a security deposit. The $300 security deposit is released once the vehicle is inspected by a rental representative at Scott Clark and returned in the same condition at checkout with a full tank of gas. Most credit card companies release your funds back to your account within 24-72 hours; please contact your credit card provider should you have questions.

$75.00 Non refundable Holding Fee is required for all Specialty vehicles like SUV's, Trucks and Vans.

Is smoking allowed in rental vehicles?

All of our vehicles are 100% smoke free. A smoking fine of $450 (plus damages) will be applied if there is any evidence of smoking in our rentals.

Can I leave my personal car parked at the dealership?

Unfortunately we are unable to allow rental car clients to leave their personal vehicles in our parking lot.

Can I transport my pet in a rental car?

In order to keep our vehicles in pristine condition for all of our customers to enjoy, we do not allow pets in our rental vehicles.

Can I tow a trailer or my boat with a rental vehicle?

We allow towing with select rentals, as long as the rental vehicle has our factory installed hitch.

What taxes or additional fees should I expect?

Due to our multiple locations in various counties taxes and fees vary. All rules, charges and penalties are clearly stated when you get the keys to your rental car and are clearly detailed on your rental contract.

Optional Services and Entertainment

• Underage driver?s fee- 21-24: (at $15-20 per day). Depending on vehicle class. Some restrictions apply.
• Additional Driver(s) -, $10.00/per day/per driver. All drivers must be authorized and qualify to drive.
• FUEL OPTIONS: WE DO NOT REFUND OR CREDIT FUEL. PRE PAY for a full tank of gas at our discounted current daily gas rate. Refuel at your expense to a FULL tank of gas before returning. Pay $7.29 for each gallon not replenished.
