There is also live music, activities for the kids, and booths set up from more than 30 different restaurants. You can walk down the street and try anything from pizza to soul food to ice cream. It is free to attend the Taste of CharlotteĀ Festival, and you can purchase special festival coins to pay for your food and drinks. The coins typically cost about $20 for 15 of them, and most of the food samples cost between one and three coins.
