The 2016 Nisan Sentra offers five trim levels — the S, FE+ S, SV, SR, and SL. These trims have a number of similarities, as well as many differences. The engine that comes with this car is a 1.8-liter DOHC I4. The car gets 130 horsepower and 128 lb.-ft. of torque. All trims offer a Continuously variable valve timing control system for the intake and exhaust valves.

The 2016 Nissan Sentra is a front-wheel drive vehicle. The S trim comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission, where the other trims all have the Xtronic CVT transmission. The manual transmission gets 27 mpg city and 36 mpg highway. All trims except the FE+ S get 29 mpg city and 38 mpg highway with the Xtronic CVT. However, the FE+ S gets 30 mpg city and 40 mpg highway.

All trims offer Bluetooth hands-free phone system. This allows you to stay safe and comfortable in your car. There is an optional Nissan Connect with Mobile apps, and depending on the trim level you choose, you can get navigation and Sirius XM satellite radio with this feature.
