The 2015 Nissan Rogue Select only comes in one trim level, the S. This base model starts at $20,150 MSRP and includes power outside mirrors, UV-reducing privacy solar glass, 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, and P215/70R16 all-season tires. Chrome details such as the grille, body side moldings, and door handles complete the look.By adding the $450 Appearance Package, buyers can upgrade to 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels and rear privacy glass. The $870 Convenience Package includes a rear spoiler and roof rails.

The Rogue Select comes equipped with a 2.5L DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with a continuously variable valve timing control system (CVTCS) on intake valves. This engine is capable of 170 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque and benefits from the Nissan Direct Ignition System with platinum-tipped spark plugs, electronic drive-by-wire, and the Engine Balancer System. An Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) also comes standard.

Front-wheel drive comes standard on the Rogue Select, but intuitive all-wheel drive can be added. This all-wheel drive system will automatically send all power to the front wheels for highway driving. Other standard features include Brake Assist and speed-sensitive electric power steering. The Select is not quite as efficient as other Rogue models, achieving 23 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. With all-wheel drive, those numbers drop to 22 mpg and 27 mpg.

An in-cabin microfilter and rear heater ducts keep the Rogue Select comfortable. Its power door locks include an auto-locking feature, while the driver's window includes a one-touch auto-up/down feature. A rear defroster with timer, two 12-volt DC power outlets, four cargo tie-down hooks, and under-floor storage are also standard. Cruise control, complete with steering-wheel-mounted switches, can be added. In terms of space, the Rogue Select offers 97.5 cubic feet of passenger volume and 28.9 cubic feet of cargo volume — or 57.9 cubic feet with the second row folded.The standard AM/FM/CD audio system includes four speakers, an auxiliary input jack, an interface system for iPods, and speed-sensitive volume control. Adding the Convenience Package gets you a premium AM/FM/CD audio system with a 4.3-inch color display, six speakers, a USB connection port, the Bluetooth hands-free phone system, SiriusXM satellite radio with a 3-month trial subscription, and illuminated audio controls on the steering wheel.

Standard safety features include the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System with its dual-stage supplemental front air bags, seat belt sensors, and occupant-classification sensors. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), traction control, and Active Brake Limited Slip are also standard. The driver will benefit from an energy-absorbing steering column, as well as hood buckling creases and both front and rear crumple zones. A rearview camera can be added via the Convenience Package.
