There are four different trim levels available for the 2016 GT-R: Platinum, 45th Anniversary Gold Edition, Black Edition, and Nismo. The GT-R Premium has an MSRP of $101,770 and the GT-R 45th Anniversary Gold Edition has an MSRP of $102,770. The GT-R Black Edition has an MSRP of $111,510 while the GT-R Nismo comes in with an MSRP of $149,990.

While the driver and passenger relax on the smooth comfort of the leather seats, they can also enjoy all the other spots in the car with leather accents. The shift knob, steering wheel, emergency brake handle, and inserts on the door panels all stand out with the bold touch of leather.

Drivers and passengers will also enjoy rich audio quality through the Bose audio system in the car. This system includes 11 speakers with dual subwoofers. Drivers can also appreciate modern conveniences like speed-sensitive volume control and audio control buttons mounted on the steering wheel.

The GT-R Premium, 45th Anniversary Gold Edition, and Black Edition all come with a 3.8L twin-turbocharged 24-valve V6 engine. Each engine is hard-crafted in a clean environment by a master technician. With 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque, these engines can help the cars reach a top speed of 196 miles per hour.

The GT-R Nismo has its own Nismo-tuned 3.8L twin-turbocharged V6 high-capacity engine with 600 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque that can also help the car reach top speeds of 196 miles per hour.

While the large spoiler and multitude of vents and scoops on the entire GT-R line look sharp, they also serve a purpose. The vents that sit behind the front fender help cool the brakes while the scoops on the hood and grill help cool the engine. The vents on the back bumper help push airflow toward the rear of the car and the spoiler creates downforce. Even the underbody is almost completely covered to give the car even more aerodynamic flow for greater speed and a smoother ride.

Safety features are just as important as power at Nissan. The entire line of GT-R sports cars comes with Nissan's Advanced Air Bag System, which uses sensors to deploy supplemental air bags in the front if necessary. The cars also come with roof-mounted curtain side-impact air bags to protect the heads of the front seat occupants and driver and passenger seat mounted side-impact air bags.

These cars also offer a rear view monitor that's engaged when the vehicle is put in reverse. This color camera transmits a picture to the dash-mounted screen so drivers can see what's right behind them. The system even has a large 180-degree view, so squeezing into a small parking space is much easier now.
